The Burleigh Falls region is famous for the Pickerel run starting at the season opening. The fast water at the four dams at the top of Lovesick Lake attracts schools of pickerel in the good eating one to two pound range. The occasional 6-8 pounder keeps the big fish bets interesting.

Most Lovesick Lake fisherman release their Muskie catches, as a
result, we have large numbers of Muskie, most in the fun-to-catch 25-34 inch size range (throw these ones back), with several in the 50-54 inch wall mounting range.

Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass round out the fishing targets
with good numbers of Smallmouth caught early in July.
